Get to Know the Popular Game, Call of Duty Mobile

Call of Duty Mobile is a shooter game that is developed by TiMi Studio Group. It was launched by Activision on October 1, 2019, for both Android and iOS devices as a free-to-play game. It is largely based on the initial Call of Duty video game launched by the same company back in 2003.

This particular mobile game is considered one of the most popular and highly successful launched throughout the whole of history, something which astounds me, to say the least. As a matter of fact, this has generated approximately $480 million in just one year thanks to 270 million downloads.

With its heightened success in the field, Call of Duty Mobile was also published in other regions thanks to Activision’s partnerships with TiMi Studio Group, Garena, Tencent Games, and VNG Games. As of 2022, the game has already amassed a whopping 650 million downloads.

In many ways, it can be said that Call of Duty Mobile is a culmination and collection of elements within the Call of Duty series. It contains different gameplays, such as multiplayer and battle royale modes, as well as an array of characters and weapons from its predecessors.

How the Game Works

I find the gameplay of Call of Duty Mobile to be relatively simple, which I believe adds to its appeal. To start, players can either choose to engage in ranked or non-ranked matches. These both fall under the multiplayer mode.

After choosing what type of game I want, I can further customize my gameplay by choosing different types of game modes under the multiplayer option. Some of these include team deathmatch, search and destroy, domination, frontline, and many others.

Once I have already chosen one of these multiplayer modes, I can now start playing according to the pre-determined style and tackle the mission at hand. One of the most basic approaches that I find is best for beginners is the frontline mode due to its simplicity, with the winning team needing to reach 50 kills first.

What Are Call of Duty Points?

As mentioned, one of the most important currencies in the game, if not the only one, is called the Call of Duty Points, otherwise known as CP. These are commonly used to purchase in-game items that are exclusive to Call of Duty Mobile.

The main goal of CP is to provide me and other players of the game access and the opportunity to enhance the gameplay. Through CP, I can buy new items and accessories in the store, even the most exclusive ones at that.

I find that CP can also be used to purchase in-game draws, as well as Battle Passes, and Premium Crates. Some of these purchases let me yield items and bundles such as skins, weapons, weapon blueprints, cards, emblems, and many others.

What to Know About Earning CP

Call of Duty Points, or CPs, cannot be earned in the game. They can only be bought in-store via the game or the app store, as well as Codashop, using real money. When purchasing, $1.99 is equivalent to 200 CP and $99.99 gets me 10,000 CP with another 3,000 bonus CP. While CP is not normally given for free, I have found that Call of Duty mobile sometimes gives players like me access to free CP.

This, however, can be quite rare, leaving players who want to upgrade and purchase skins, characters, and what not high and dry. Another way I can earn CP through hard work is by filling out surveys available through Google Opinion Rewards with the help of my Android device.

This way, I can get credit on my Google Play Store account and use these credits to purchase CP. Lastly, I can also try my luck when joining giveaways in CoD. There are regular events being held in the game and these events are absolutely free. When I win any of these, I can get not only more CP, but also gears, operators, blueprints, and many others.

Talking All About Credits

It’s easy to mistake Credits for Call of Duty Points in the mobile game, but these couldn’t be more different from one another. While CP is a type of in-game currency, Credits are simply a type of points system within the game and these can be earned and used in a variety of ways.

While Credits certainly act as a type of in-game currency as well, these don’t necessarily have to be purchased using real money. In fact, I have noticed that Credits are more accessible and generally free, making this a more wallet-friendly option.

Similar to CP, Credits can be used to purchase Call of Duty mobile items in the store. However, the selection of items and goodies up for grabs in the store using Credits is not as extensive compared to CP.

What Credits Can Buy

Credits can get me skins, even the most exclusive ones available on the platform that come every season. In addition to these, I believe that Credits can also get me in-game items such as guns, weapons, and other operator skills.

Credits are valuable currencies in the game as they allow me and other players to upgrade accordingly. Personally, I find that I can improve my game and how I interact with others through the weapons I purchase and the Exo upgrades that I can get.

What’s more appealing to me is that Credits allow me to access other parts of the map, letting me explore new places that I have not been to before.

Learning How to Earn Credits

There are three ways that I can earn Credits in Call of Duty Mobile and these don’t even require me to spend real money, unlike the methods for getting CP. One of these is by constantly checking the events tab. Here, I can see monthly or seasonal events on the calendar.

What’s great about going through the events tab is that there are tons of events going on all at the same time in Call of Duty Mobile. There are even days when just logging in will reward me with fixed Credits, but I find that checking in every day even gives me some Credit points.

The seasonal events in the game are also worth checking out. These are only available for a limited time per month and these featured events change per season, so I make sure to see what’s in store apart from more credits as weapons or utilities can also be given out.

Another way I can get more Credits in Call of Duty Mobile is simply by completing the weekly tasks. While not all of the tasks will give me Credits, there are some challenges that give these as rewards so it’s worth finishing as well.

Other Means of Earning Credits

The Call of Duty Mobile battle pass is perhaps one of the most sought-after additions that enhance the game. This is because the battle pass provides players with additional content that makes the game even more exciting, unlocking certain tiers and even giving exclusive rewards.

To get the best of both worlds, that is, to complete the missions on my battle pass and get more Credits in the end, constantly playing the battle pass is another way to go about these. Not only can I claim more points, but I can also get multiple rewards including Credits.

Lastly, I also want to emphasize that for those who have more time on their hands, watching the in-game ads can also increase my chances of getting additional Credits. This is one of the easier ways of getting these compared to playing and anticipating events.

Final Thoughts

Call of Duty Mobile offers a multiplayer game that’s free to play. With various ways of getting CP and Credits, I believe that this game is helpful in opening up a new world for people to explore, especially with its new arenas, skins, and characters giving life to the game in every sense of the word.

I hope that with these tips and tricks of getting CP and Credits, you, too, can level up your game and find it even more enjoyable than ever before.
